On September 30 Maudience hosted our 3rd Google Partner Event.
Previously, we’ve hosted this event at the North Liberty Co-Lab, but after moving into a new office location in February, we were able to host it at the Maudience office.
The purpose of this free event was to inform small business about the benefits of Google AdWords. Google AdWords is an advertising service available for businesses who want to display ads on Google platforms. AdWords allows businesses to set an advertising budget and only pay when people click their ads.
AdWords can:
- Produce effective online advertising
- Increase leads and new customers
- Provide highly targeted search marketing
During this live stream event we heard from two experts in digital advertising and marketing from Google, Matt Lawson and Fred Vallaeys. Vallaeys is an AdWords Evangelist and Lawson is the Managing Director of Ads Marketing.
Lawson focused on the “micro-moments” that guide a customer’s decision journey. This centers on the idea that the customer is searching for a product or service for a reason and businesses can use online marketing to reach these potential customers during these individual moments that matter most during their purchase search.
These talks were then followed by a networking session and time to hear from the two co-founders and owners of Maudience, Mark Vande Haar and Mike Hekker. They spoke about Maudience and answered questions the business representatives had.
The success in this event is what encourages and enables us to continue hosting it, not only for us as a digital marketing agency, but for the local businesses who allow us to help them grow their business, which is why we do what we do.
